Wanderlust is booming. But thanks to social media, travel hotspots soon become no-gos. To launch NextGen, easyJet's new pan-European brand, we created Listen & Book, a data-driven digital experience serving up personalised travel recommendations based on your favourite tracks. Powered by Spotify, holiday vibes are determined through music attributes such as the positivity of a song, energy and tempo, and served alongside multiple travel suggestions. Users could share their results on social, listen to customised playlists inspired by their vibe and book flights with easyJet directly from the experience. People were truly inspired with 150k+ users across Europe and a completion rate 9x higher than the Spotify benchmark. PR coverage generated 6.7m+ earned impressions, and the campaign led easyJet to overtake BA as the number one airline in the UK for brand consideration.
